Editorial Comment

The ninth issue of Conversations responds to Cavell’s thoughts against the backdrop history philosophy in general, and phenomenology, especially Hegel Heidegger; unfolding metaphysical, epistemological, ethical, political, aesthetic ramifications. It is that backdrop, question arises about nature function dialectic wording world, other, or ourselves, as acknowledged by Paul Franks Espen Hammer. idea arose with an essay (an “attempt”) I was working on, Cavell, Wittgenstein, Hegel, at University Leeds, while also reading Phenomenology Spirit Reading Group Oxford (Michaelmas term, 2020), and, meeting Cavellian (that Cambridge, now international group), upon sharing Amir Khan, this started a series discussions, which eventually resulted invitation guest edit issue.
